Sheriff Joe Arpaio, America’s Toughest Drunkest Sheriff, begged volunteers to help patrol Mexico’s border. AZ was forced to cut the budget, after pressuring Mexican Americans to carry Visa approvals to avoid deportation. The harassment was received as racist. Hard working Mexicans, both legal and illegal, abandoned town. Arpaio ruined Maricopa County, Arizona. Lou, Steven, and Peter bought him a bottle of vintage whiskey. Sheriff Joe blessed them all with ‘reserve deputy sheriff’ badges to add to their audition reels.
Arpaio has been accused of abuse of power, misuse of funds, failure to investigate sex crimes, improper clearance of cases, unlawful enforcement of immigration laws, and election law violations. He has not, however, used his sheriff experience to audition in Tinseltown. He was found guilty of racial profiling in federal court. His jails have been ruled unconstitutional.
