California Fights Against Mexico Drug Cartel

The violence in Mexico involving drug cartels is at an all time high.  People are afraid to travel and visit their own families.  Vigilantes have swooped into Nueva Italia, with a Superman like vengeance against the kidnappings, violence, and drugs.  A group of men, some California locals, are desperately trying to regain control of their town.

The city is host to an estimated 32,000 hopeful, but scared residents.  Most locals don’t trust the so called defense groups.  They figure they’re either secretly another gang, or spies for drug lords.  Everything in Tierra Caliente (also known as Hot Land) is cool for now.  The local police have joined with the vigilantes in an effort to protect the city’s innocent.

Residents are shaken and afraid.  Kids and elderly have been kidnapped for ransom several times, and we won’t mention the headless bodies that were found.

We aren’t certain how long the calm will last.  Nobody knows who to trust.  Will Knights Templar come slaughter the entire town for wanting to live peacefully?  Although the vigilante army is heavily armed, they are afraid of the blood thirsty savages.  The federal policeman is also very afraid, and often forced to be a snitch for the bad guys.

The bloody war is over the rich soil, and geography.  Ports serve as a way to ship  cocaine, and methamphetamine chemicals.  You can easily grow delicious fruit, or Obama Kush.  Will right win?  Or will drugs lords own Mexico forever?

It Gets Worse

Desperate times- desperate measures. What else can be done against these animals that victimize the the citizen that just wants to have whatever life they can get with their families that gives them security, safety and a chance to flourish? People who leave chopped up torsos aren’t going to just talk it out and then behave. Legalization won’t help because it will become taxed and controlled and the illegal drug trade will continue just like they still make moonshine where I come from in Georgia. In fact the competition for the smaller drug trade post legalization will likely make it worse. Some of us went to countries far away from the US to fight this global war on terror. And we see Americans being harmed here in our country.

We went to war in Iraq over chemical weapons which they did find but the media barely covered it, political groups minimized the finds- In example tons of Sarin B were found- A heinous weapon that kills people the same way RAID kills a bug. How many here know this? It was reported but they say it was “just” artillery shells- as if that makes it less destructive- To our South they manufacture chemicals that are responsible for death and destruction every day in the US- We essentially ignore it. What would we do if any country dropped chemicals on the US and killed 10% of what we lose every year? That is what Colombia is doing- We are part of the problem we are a weak and permissive society- The answer to so many drug deaths- legalize it- I don’t care if people want to do dope but legalization will not make it better- there will always ALWAYS be illegal use even if they said anyone at any age can buy whatever dope they want there will still be illegal drug trade. People will kill, harm, rob from others to buy legal drugs because it is hard to hold down a job if you are on the nod. Legalization is compared to ending prohibition but they never seem to mention the fact that millions still drink illegally or buy homemade because it is cheaper.

What are we going to do now that the violence is here? Unfortunately nothing- because no one has the courage to stand up and say it isn’t ok to do dope, it isn’t ok to ruin your life and the lives of your families. We are permissive and spoiled in this country and lack discipline. Pro drug idiots minimize and rationalize but legal or not drugs will ruin people, it will carry violence. And we’ll do nothing.
