Who Said: It occurred to me, having watched MTV over the last few months, that’s it’s a solid enterprise, really. It’s got a lot going for it. I’m just floored by the fact that there are so few black artists featured on it. Why is that?

We appreciate Hollyweird entertainers who are willing to risk it all for the sake of others.  Jada Pinkett Smith risked her Illuminati status when she revolted against the Oscars.  Most entertainers won’t speak up on black injustice, or hate crime.  We all poked fun at Caitlyn Jenner until Barack Obama named shim a hero, a Glamour crowned him ‘Woman of the Year.’

Among the wonders of David Bowie’s life that are being rediscovered upon his death: this video — from 1983 — of the artist criticizing MTV for featuring so few black artists. HERE is video of the exchange between Bowie and MTV’s Mark Goodman, plus a transcript of the conversation at LATIMES>>>
