DeAndre Howard spent 11 painful years locked up for a murder he did not commit. After a decade of fighting for his innocence, prosecutors gave him a choice. Howard had to decide whether to plead guilty to manslaughter, and get out of jail for the holiday season- or, take his case to trial, and risk spending life in jail. Thankfully, he was certain of his innocence. The judge acquitted him of murder, and attempted murder. DeAndre didn’t even have a ride home, and after 11 long years, was finally free.
