America’s sweetheart, and Tim McGraw’s alleged side piece, Taylor Swift, has been on a long journey to her award winning success. She’s swallowed her way to a clothing line, a signature perfume, a diet Coke endorsement, sold out arenas, and a gazillion Twitter followers.
Swift may be young, but she was well seasoned before she actually landed on the top of Pop charts. She dropped her first album in 2004, and she’s been grinding like P- Diddy every since. She has, however, admitted to be overwhelmed with the strenuous work load.
Taylor Swift told Parade, “I’m scared of this whole thing backfiring, or chewing me up and spitting me out, and all of a sudden, I don’t love it anymore.” She reminds us of the way Hollyweird did Michael Jackson, and Britney Spears. She confessed applying “a crazy amount of pressure” on herself to try topping her own achievements. “My head’s never really quiet,” she says. “The only time I can get it to turn off is if I watch CSI or Law & Order, where I have to follow the crime. If I can’t turn my head off during that, I know I’ve really got a problem.”
“I don’t know necessarily how much privacy I’m entitled to,” she says when asked about the difficulty of being ridiculously rich, and super gorgeous “but I know I don’t get much of it. At the same time, I asked for this. I could be playing in a coffeehouse—I’d be happy doing that, [but] not as happy, probably. Knowing that people are going to hear the music I make is the most amazing feeling. Knowing that there are dudes waiting outside my house with cameras, hiding in bushes, is a less awesome feeling.”
Taylor really never had the opportunity to take a break, or feel normalcy. Beyonce took off and had Blue Ivy because her mother noticed her turning into a robot. Work. Work. Work. Hollyweird is a machine, and we hope T-Swizzle doesn’t let it wipe her out. She’s tired, wouldn’t you be?
“I have some days where I get frustrated,” she admits. “I kind of give myself this pep talk, like, ‘Are you in the mood for lots of social situations and pictures? If the answer’s no, stay inside.” Now she has to go everywhere with security. “I have some crazies that are after me.”
Taylor dropped Speak Now right after Fearless. Before Fearless could cool off, executives popped her on the Red train ride.
Taylor Swift is already preparing to release yet another album. Is it us, or is Swift’s exhaustion beginning to take a toll on her passion for the music?
