Nipsey managed to force his way through the mix-tape gauntlet, and had the genius idea of selling his CD, for $100.00 each. Jay-Z isn’t too good for the hood. Nipsey’s I Am Proud 2 Pay campaign, got the mogul’s attention. He reportedly purchased a number of copies of Crenshaw from the Rolling 60’s representative.

A Nipsey Hussle fan explained it like this, “There was only 1,000 [CDs] made, and I wanted to have one because that’s my favorite rapper. I’ve gotta support.”
Ladies will add ‘Gold Jay Z’ to their shopping list, and Nipsey Hussle will add ‘hood certified Gold’ to his resume. Everybody, and their moma is temporarily high off that Crenshaw, but would you pay $100.00 for it?
