Ballerific Relationships: From Hunter to Hunted… – blogged by: S0 F L Y Y As a woman… No, let me take that back… As a hard-working black woman with superior abilities and great personality, I have always been the hunter. I have always been the one looking for, reaching for, running after those things I feel I deserve. If I want a better job, I go get it. If I want more money, I find a way to earn it. I want a dude on my level, I’m scoping for him at seminars. As you can see… I’ve always thought of myself as the hunter. Little did I know… I was also being hunted. Call him love sick, a groupie, or just psycho… he went there. He took it where most men dare not… the pregnancy trap. Now… I know what you thinking, how could HE trap YOU with pregnancy? Let’s define this pregnancy trap then. Pregnancy trap : The act of forcing pregnancy on another party in hopes of a relationship or material gain. Often when we think pregnancy, we think female gold digger. Let’s not be deceived, gold appeals to both sexes. I am more affluent, charismatic, educated, and stable then him. A man knows a good thing when he sees one… when I denied him a relationship, it unsettled him. He knew that I loved kids, loved family… and am definitely pro-life, so aborting what’s mine isn’t even an option. But I told him we’d be nothing more than friends…there was no relationship to speak of between us and although I cared for him, I didn’t want anything of the sort. So when I tell you, that HE tried to infuse himself with ME, in the hopes that I’d bear his child… I became the hunted. He tried the pregnancy trap, in what society would call the reverse.
