Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Grammy heist pissed a bunch of people off. Haters blamed their race, and song dedicated to their gay uncle. When Pharrell named Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for Best New Artist, Malcolm X rolled in his grave. Fans claimed Kendrick Lamar was robbed. Macklemore was forced to be sad, when he should have felt blessed. Fans slammed the white, rap, super duo on social media. Macklemore felt pressured to respond.
The caption read “My text to Kendrick after the show. He deserved best rap album. I’m honored and completely blown away to win anything much less 4 Grammys. But in that category, he should have won IMO, And that’s taking nothing away from The Heist. Just giving GKMC it’s proper respect.”
Hollywood rumors claim Kendrick isn’t the only one mad. Macklemore owes someone else an apology. Our sources say that Ryan Lewis is absolutely crushed. Macklemore hogs the spotlight like he’s a band leader, but Lewis is the soul of the group. Lewis is sick of Macklemore riding around Hollywood like he owns the place. Ryan has his own voice, and is extremely talented. Wouldn’t it be nice if Macklemore shut the fork up, and allowed Ryan Lewis to express himself sometimes?
