Miranda Lambert Another LeAnn Rimes – Blake Shelton Stolen – Video Evidence

Miranda Lambert treated Blake like dirt at the CMA Awards.  Their glistening smiles weren’t enough to overshadow the weird awkwardness.  Blake Shelton was just as drunk, and flirty as usual.  The whole Grand Ole Opry could feel the ice in Lambert’s blood.  Maybe she was mad because the industry continually pressures her to lose more, and more weight.  Even after the event crowned her female vocalist of the year, Miranda refused to thank her husband.  Blake was so embarrassed, and onlookers were stunned.  What would make Miranda Lambert diss her husband at a ritzy showbiz event before their peers?

A few nights before the awards ceremony, 60 Minutes aired a Blake Shelton Special.  Nancy O’Donnell showed video footage from a 2005 duet with Miranda.  They slayed You’re The Reason God Made Oklahoma.  Blake told O’Donnell he’d fallen in love, that very moment.  What’s wrong with that…you ask?  In 2005 Blake Shelton was a newly wed married to Kaynette Williams!  Does this make Miranda Lambert a home wrecker?  Insiders say Lambert was pissed, and humiliated.  We aren’t supposed to know, she’s the reason for his divorce.  Watch the video below (7:45).  Let us know in the comments if you think Miranda unintentionally ruined Blake’s first marriage.  Remember, Blake & Miranda met in 05.  He divorced Kaynette in 06.

But having staying power in Nashville is about as easy as making it in L.A. as an actor. And Shelton was known as much for his hairstyle as he was for his musical chops. But his career and his life changed in 2005 when he was asked to perform on this TV special with an up-and-coming singer from Texas named Miranda Lambert.

Norah O’Donnell: A lot of people who were there say they saw you falling in love at that moment.

Blake Shelton: I guess so.

Norah O’Donnell: And when you look back at it, you think?

Blake Shelton: I mean, I guess so. It’s hard to argue with what I’m looking at. I’m trying to play the guy card here like, ‘By God, no’ but I mean, that’s pretty pathetic right there.

Norah O’Donnell: But you were married at the time.

Blake Shelton: I was married. That was easily the toughest thing that I’ve, you know, been through. I put my divorce up there with my brother’s death and that was a tough, tough call to make.

Shelton eventually married Lambert.
