Oprah Winfrey never slowed down long enough to have her own children. She was too busy dodging gay rumors and taking over the world. Being a mother is the most selfless act in the world, so Winfrey knew as a child, she was way to cool to be somebody’s mom.
Oprah confessed her true feeling about losing her swag to motherhood. She told The Hollywood Reporter she would not make a good mother.
“Gayle King [mother of two] was the kind of kid who, in seventh grade Home Ec class, was writing down her name and the names of her children,” Winfrey claimed. “While she was having those kind of daydreams, I was having daydreams about how I could be Martin Luther King.”
She pretended to be happy with the idea of eternal loneliness and putting her career first. She made it clear that not having kids was a conscious decision. Her wealth and goals come before everything, even Stedman.
“If I had kids, my kids would hate me,” Winfrey said. “They would have ended up on the equivalent of the Oprah show talking about me; because something would have had to suffer and it would’ve probably been them.”
