Solange Knowles’ birthday marks the end of a somewhat controversial 27th year for the singer, whose escapades in an elevator, attacking brother-in-law Jay Z at a Met Gala afterparty as her sister Beyonce watched, went mega-viral back in May.
And posing in the arms of video director Ferguson, 51, her long term boyfriend, Solange appears to be in a much more peaceful frame of mind.
“Luckily, I dated all of the losers ages ago,” she said of her relationship of with Alan Ferguson in March, with whom she lives, along with her 8-year-old son Daniel Julez from 3-year-marriage to Daniel Smith when she was just 17. “My love life has been stable for a while.
