For those of you screaming instantly, “Not ALL white people feel this way. It’s racist for him to say that!” Just shut up. He very clearly stated, in the first four words, “BOTHERED” white people. As in, the white people who had something against this. As in, NOT every white person ever. Those of you getting offended over something he didn’t even say are part of the issue at hand, and you don’t even recognize it.
Alyssa Canterbury Not only that, but the KKK was originated to oppress people who had done NO WRONG. It was a disgusting group with no other means than to hurt, torture and kill innocent people simply because of the color of their skin. If the performance you are referring to was the Black Panthers one, you need to take a step back and remember WHY that particular group was formed. They were SICK of police brutally killing them with absolutely no motive. They were SICK of being segregated. They were sick of watching innocent people being battered and being able to do nothing about it. Comparing the KKK and the Black Panthers isn’t acceptable. One group got tired of being mauled, for lack of a better word, and formed a defensive unit to fight back. And yeah, it got out of hand, but I’m telling you right now, if I had to sit and watch people murder my family, I’d snap eventually, too. So no, it isn’t the same fucking concept.
