#MrsAmerica Equal Rights For Women – Not Disabled

Cate Blanchett is Hollyweird royalty, but her disabled brother lives in squalor Down Under.  While Blanchett sucks in millions, big brother, Robert Blanchett, is desperate, alone, and disabled.  He lives in a shabby apartment, and has little friends.  Cate and Robert were inseparable growing up in Melbourne, Australia.  Now, she pretends he doesn’t exist.

Brandy & Ray, Julianne & Derek- it was entirely uncommon to see snaps of them together on the red carpet or at Hollywood parties.  These days, when asked if they are in touch Robert Blanchett said: “Come on, now! She’s got a team who make people [comfortable] on her behalf. But I’m not one of them.”

Despite Covid 19, Cate Blanchett is prepared to celebrate her 51st birthday quarantined with her Academy Award winning privilege.  Will the global pandemic nudge Cate’s cold heart?  Does Cate Blanchett truly believe in equal rights for ALL Americans except her handicapped brother?  Or, is it just a role she’s playing while finessing USA Today reporters?

“I certainly feel that what’s being revealed to us in the current global crisis is how the systems that we labor under are not serving us well,” Blanchett said. She noted that at the time “America” takes place, “systems hadn’t shifted profoundly enough to serve all of the American citizens. I think that what we’re dealing with now in 2020 is still a very unequal system.”
